XPEL Paint Protection Film
XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS Paint Protection Film uses a special polymer in its clear coat that flows even though it is cured. This allows the clear coat to find its natural level again after being disturbed on the surface. This can also be accelerated with a heat gun or hot water however normally it self-heal in Australia’s hot climate on its own or even from when you’re driving.
XPEL offer over 80,000 Patterns on their Design Access Program (DAP), this gives us the ability to protect on most makes & models the entire vehicle. However we can protect only certain high impact areas if you would like, such as;
- Full Front Bumper
- Side Mirrors
- Side skirts & rockers
- Boot Area
- A & B Pillars
Quite simply put, XPEL’s advanced technology, there is no limit to the number of times the clear coat can heal itself. As long as the clear coat is not penetrated it will heal over and over again without any change.
Not at all, no. XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS & XPEL STEALTH Paint Protection Films allows UV to pass through the film and fade the paint underneath at the same rate as the exposed paint. So there will be no colouration difference on your paint as normally found on vinyl colour wraps.
XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS Paint Protection Film requires less maintenance than any other brand of film on the market to date. MADinc’s general care instructions are:
-Please Wait 48 hours after installation to wash your car, longer if possible
-Remove insect or other stains with bug and tar remover provided*
-If you have chosen not to have Ceramic Protection applied after we have applied film to your car, we would highly recommend and suggest to seal with XPEL Flawless Finish Paint Protection Film Sealant at least once every 3-4 months to preserve high gloss finish and add further protection to the film. It is not recommended to apply any carnauba waxes; if there is dye (coloured) wax it may absorb and discolour the film.
– XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS PPF Clear Bra Film will SELF-HEAL on its own usually within 20-30 minutes in our climate in Australia.
No, as many other global installers, we have attended mandatory XPEL Factory Training for our Certification to provide you with XPEL’s highest quality installation.
XPEL warrants XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS & STEALTH Paint Protection Films to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for ten (10) years from the date of purchase. Covered defects include: yellowing, staining, cracking, blistering and delaminating. This warranty does not extend coverage to damage caused by normal wear and tear, road debris & stone-chip impact, accidents, collisions or intentional damage of any kind including no maintenance.
GYEON quartz Paint Protection
GYEON quartz offer a variety of DIY coatings providing up to 1 years worth of protection for your vehicles paintwork. Here at MADinc in Perth, we are GYEON quartz Trained & Certified to provide you with their Certified only coatings such as Q² MOHS+, Q² DuraBead and Q² DuraFlex – these coatings are not available to the public and offer up to 5 years+ protection when applied by a Certified applicator such as us.
Quartz coating is a liquid, a SiO2-based medium which protects painted automotive surfaces. It contains the solvents necessary to obtain a liquid consistency that eases overlaying on the paint surface, which will after application vaporize due to contact with oxygen. Traditional waxes contain, in most cases, the Carnauba wax of Brazilian palm trees, beeswax or KPS-type, synthetic waxes – these type of waxes last short term and have a very poor resistance to chemicals and environmental fall out.
GYEOn quartz MOHS+, Durabead & Duraflex are simply the most advanced paint protection systems in the world today and is backed up with a 5 year real-life conditional warranty provided by GYEON quartz and us at MADinc for new vehicles*.
You may ask how GYEON quartz Professional Series Coatings differs to rival products, and what it offers that they don’t?
The answers to these questions all stem back to its unique two-stage formula, which lays down a hybrid film of organic-silica that increases in molecular weight as it cures, forming an amorphous organic-silica nano-composite. None of the other SiO2-based coatings work in the same way, they lay down glass-like coatings that form strong molecular bonds and, in some cases, fully crystallized lattices, but none are as structurally dense (and thus as scratch resistant) or as hydrophobic and lipophobic (and thus as strongly self-cleaning) as GYEON Q² MOHS+, Durabead & DuraFlex.
GYEON Q² Professional Series Coating Systems simply offers greater durability, more scratch resistance and better protection against the elements. The application process is time consuming, taking on average one full working day to complete on a medium-sized car (in addition to any preparation work), knowing your car is wearing the best protection money can buy including the five year warranty. GYEON Q2 MOHS+, DuraBead & Duraflex really will last the distance, and knowing that both GYEON and your certified detailer are guaranteeing this is virtually priceless in terms of your peace of mind.
Q² DuraFlex is an advanced, two-ingredient and double-layer ceramic coating designed to suit the requirements of GYEON quartz Certified Detailers such as ourselves. The pure silazane Q² Base coating is the hardest automotive coating ever developed. It is a technological breakthrough and requires only one layer. Q² Flexi is a thick and extremely slick topcoat that has set new standards in gloss, hydrophobicity and durable self-cleaning. (Certified Detailer Only Coating)
CONTACT ANGLE: >120′

DURABILITY: up to 60 months
Below is a comparison table from a quartz coating to carnauba wax, with a scale of 1 to 10 (where 1 is total failure, and 10 being the best with maximum protection). Coatings offer a much more durable protective coating and when compared to a wax the obvious choice for longevity and protection will always be GYEON quartz Coatings.
